Vinyl siding does not offer any type of insulation factors, for that, you would need to add insulation at the time that siding begins on your home. Metal siding
Before vinyl siding became popular, metal siding was the only alternative to wood siding.
Metal siding is not the preferred choice by many people, however it is still popular among those who own industrial or utilitarian buildings. It is made out of corrugated galvanized steel to give it endurance and to stand up to any kind of weather.

Masonry siding can add to the value of your home there is no doubt about it. It can accommodate every style and personality of the people who choose it. Brick, stone, and stucco are just some of the choices that you have when you decide on masonry siding.
Whether you want an elegant modern looking home or a rustic representation of the past, masonry siding will have a choice for you. Masonry siding can be painted or tinted to any color you choose, however the best look is natural earth tones. The durability of masonry stonework is incredible, lasting up to if not over one hundred years. When you take into consideration that it can last one hundred plus years, and that the maintenance is extremely low, that you may find that even though it may cost a lot now, you will most likely never have to replace it. That alone is worth the cost.
